i took this on my trip to san francisco with my 18-55. How could i have made this shot better? would it be any better if i used wide angle lens? like mayb sig 10-20 or tok 12-24?

Shiiiiit, nigga. suffice to say, I like this shot. oh, and if you used a UWA on this, you would have so much going on it would be less interesting.

Oh, and the best low budget wide angles are the tokina 12-16 2.8 and the sigma 10-20 4.5-5.6. better higher ends are zeiss etc.

The technique is already good enough but IMO there's nothing interesting to look at in your picture.

it's sharp enough. for future ref, on here, resize images to 1000 pixels on the longest length.

the shot's nothing amazing, but if you are an amateur as you claim to be, your compositional skills are quite developed. keep it up.

I can see the chomab from the thumbnail, other than that its actually pretty good, not terribly interesting as said before, but its a really good start for a self-proclaimed "noob".
