It seems to me the best thing you could probably do is simplify, simplify, simplify.
There are alot of "busy" shapes going on here.
The intersecting lines of all those bars are drawing my eye to dang near every corner of the frame.

Next time you take a photo, remember this:
Light against dark, dark against light, big against small, small against big. Try to focus on only having one, two or three main subjects in a photograph. Placing a light subject against a dark background and vice-versa will certainly help.
Framing, watching your corners, visual balance and all that jazz comes after that.
