I'm about to buy my first SLR! The only question is which one I should get! Therefore I need your advice!

So if you had the choice (price doesn't matter) between a "Canon EOS Rebel XSi" and a "Nikon D-60", which one would you pick?

I care not about the fact that you are buying a new dslr nor do I about you, but I will offer this small piece of advice. Try both of them and see which you are more comfortable with. Don't let /p/ decide for you. After you have done this.... buy a Nikon D40 w/18-200VR.

if AF and live view make you excited then go the xsi. you can always jump to nikon at a later date when you want to start buying a higher end body and lenses,
