yeah ive been quite surprised to not see any 50dness around here.. maybe everyone expected it to be fucken magic then got disapointed that they couldnt shoot at 6400 and post it with pride...

only real adjustments were resizes for posting and a bit of colour tuning in DPP.. wasnt using flash at all so the stage lights flooded the models a bit.. a lot of em look good like that but i prefer skin tones personally...

I think it's more just that most of the people here are poorfags who're doing well to be able to afford a Rebel XS. Or people who have saved their pennies and popped for a 5D. I don't even see a lot of 20D/30D/40D shooters here.

thats a good point.. although going by forums the likes of DPR.. it seems a lot of people arent happy with the talking down of the 50D.. too many people expected the world from it.. its fucken great and I love it but its not fucking magic.. and they probaly did push the res a bit too far.. 12mp would of been great.. but marketing is the world i guess.. fullsize attempt up next

it was just a random pic i pulled from the folder.. the iso doesnt really help keep it sharp and tuning the colour a bit in raw didnt really help it either..

but hey im still amatuer as hell, not to mention i was just at the front of the crowd and getting knocked around a tad. excuses excuses, maybe i should look at microadjusting my lens as well to be sure

either that, or just yeah, the 50d went too far with the res maybe
