the argus was cheaply built, has no meter, and is a camera from 1940.
go get a pentax spotmatic or k1000

Also, you don't need much room to develop black and white negs, a bathroom will do. Don't need a darkroom either, just a changing bag. Give it a go.

Hi, OP here. I'm still fairly set on a C3. I look at it as my first camera not my last and cheap enough that I can get a different camera soon if I want to. My only question is now, before I hit the buy it now on this is if the lens is messed up? It looks like it is but I'm not sure.

I got one of those a while back. Probably not the best first film camera unless you already know how to expose/focus properly, but there's nothing terribly bad about it. For processing it doesn't really matter unless you have something specific you want to do.

looks dirty...inside. or the coating of some of the interior elements are fucking out from age. it wont affect the photos much tho.
