Ok crowd shot, but try to get all the signs in.

Suggestions: Less JPEG, less putzing with the zoom, less cliche protest "here's some shmuck with a sign he thinks is witty but he really isn't," more composition, better use of the light, and most of all, less shit taking.

It's basically a doomed proposition though. It's probably classed to require a 2/3 majority (in legislature, iirc), so it isn't technically legal yet.

Also, if we accept that marriage is a religious term, then we are discriminating against some religions. Most relevantly (not notably) Christian churches that marry homosexuals. The big thing about American separation of church and state is that churches can't be told what to do by the government (and vice versa).
