Aperture Issue

No.303454 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Would any Aperture users like to help me with some input here? I'm having a hell of a time getting pictures imported as I shot them on the camera. I'm using a SanDisk Extreme III card, a Pentax K200D, and a MacBook. Problem is when I import my pictures, all the color profile information is stripped out of the files. So, for example, if I set the color settings for Landscape, Natural, B&W, etc, I still get the raw image, no color profile included, when I import them. Aperture seems to remove this information. The pictures playback fine on the camera.

I've tried with every combination of file format. DNG, and PEF, with SRGB and AdobeRGB. JPEG keeps the settings, but I would prefer not to shoot in JPEG just to have this capability.

Does anyone know what's going on here?
