Is there anyway to rip this model? I can't find any way to purchase it. I've had a look through the html and it seems to be an .mqo viewer written in flash.

Have a look, his unfold isn't exactly the best in the world, it shouldn't be hard to improve upon.

Anyways, I fixed some issues with the ripped model and the texture transparencies not working in pepakura so it's ready to go. Will do an unfold tomorrow as it's pretty late right now where I am.

Seriously guys? Just use a photo resizer to enlarge the pictures and then use photoshop to get the "SAMPLE" out, and voila. I mean seriously, it's already semi-transparent, it will honestly only take 15 minutes max (if you're not derp at PS).

That most certainly didn't happen to us.
Like you said, you sent those models to me in one mass emailing, and I've seen what others lie in wait for us and the others. I've MAYBE gathered half of what you sent me, and came to find out I wasted my time as one of our connections had half of them anyway =/
Just trying to see why someone thinks who a person who I've had 99% great dealings with is an asshole.

For some reason her tits weren't present in the ripped model, but the texture was there so I tried to recreate them as closely as I could. Still haven't gotten around to starting the unfold.

Not directly trying to insult you, but I notice an annoying hypocrisy present in /po/ and other papercraft communities; A model can be absolutely horribly engineered or stupidly unfolded, and as long as it's foreign or not easily available everyone will jizz their pants over it. Yet I see well designed models by english speakers who actively post in the communities being berated and given the "Non-Pepakura Process Real Vector Engineering" bullshit by the other posters. Nobody complains when a korean mecha papercraft is made in Pepakura.

Wouldn't that be a bit redundant, then again I guess you can never have too many unfolds.

Almost finished just have basically the hair left to do. Had to recreate a few things missing in the model like the base, tits and lower back and edit the hands and a few other things so it's taken longer than I thought it would.

The reported assembled size in height of the model is 280 mm (28 cm), so must be rescaled.

You can import .obj files in 3D Studio Max, in Google Sketchup using a plugin (it's free), even directly in Pepakura Designer and obviously a lot of other 3D modeling software..

OP here, I didn't reconstruct that part of the skirt because I assumed those faces were missing on purpose so there's somewhere to attach the apron to the blouse, if you have a look it's under the apron and not visible.

Skirt with apron completed..
This part isn't attached to the legs, I think there's a possibility that the model remains with skirt detachable from the entire body like the bra..

You'd be rubbing it in the designers face that you stole his model from him. That's just the kind of thing that makes people stop posting their work online. I'm most definitely NOT a PA supporter (I'm actually the one usually arguing with him) but I do have to agree with him that it's a bad idea to mock designers so openly.

Now e-mailing him to tell him how much you love the model and how much work we all went through just so we could enjoy making it... well that's a little better.

Well, there are some errors in flaps and if you're not skilled, this model is terribly difficult to fold. In fact, I modified some parts hehe.. But in general your unfolding is a good job!! I'll explain the modified parts if you're interested..

Ahh, I see. I'd intended them to simply fold back on themselves then have the underside of the purple tab glued to side of the head, but I hadn't thought of doing it that way. I'd imagine your way comes out looking nicer in the end.

Bean Bag Buccaneers is a two player children's game, the object of which is to pick up your treasure chest on the central island and sail back safely.

Each player has a giant sailing ship as their main game piece. Each ship has a removable sail, two trigger-action side panels, and a huge spring-driven cannon. This game retailed for the somewhat impressive sum of $16 back in 1962. With its huge plastic ships (close to a foot long), giant vinyl play mat, and the eye patches, it may well stand as one of the more overproduced games of the early 1960s.

1:I copy the the .mqo address and add cgsite.net.
2:It goes to a page with a TXT version of the .mqo file
3: I right click "save as" .txt. But here's a wierd part, it's saves the file as ".mqo.txt." any reason why? I notice yours was a pure .mqo.

Don't know why it doesn't work for you. But could it be, that 3doc can open you file, after you changed the fileextension from .txt to .mqo?
try downloading the file with freedownloadmanager or something like that.

I'm not a designer by any means, so take this with a grain of salt, but models like Terrasse's and SSN's have very simple face unfolds. Moekami's too, even though his models tend to be loltiny.
Maybe try and unfold them in a similar fashion? I don't mean to knock your work, but the unfolds on some of those parts are looking kinda Skullkid/Alclione at the moment. Is it possible the model can be edited and maybe simplified a little? Possibly enlarged so the pieces are easier to manage as well?

Consider that I've already simplified the model. That posing (legs, arms, even the neck has a torsion with extra polygons) requires many pieces and complex folding because there's a lot of collision faces (i.e right arm). The model certainly is not designed for unfolding. In fact, you can see that other models usually have their arms outstretched or slightly bent, the body has a basic position. The more dynamic pose, the more complicated unfolding..

At the moment the model ain't unfoldable in a correct manner. I printed a sheet with fingers to try the flaps dimension, and there are impossible foldings to make them properly. Several parts have collisions, neck-hair, arms, face, fingers, pants-legs, the skirt was attached to nothing so I've reconstructed an entire body portion. Wait for an improved, simplified, doable version..

Idk, the colors are close to the 3D model. I think depends on how you take a photo.

Hmm, I feel like if you work from the fingers to the wrist it might work better (have the tabs on the fingers, that connect to the hands.). That's just from my experience.
That way the hand closes at the (open) wrist, without any trouble.

Maybe try extending the piece that is shown inside so that the tip goes to the end of the other piece, and deleting the end of the horizontal part? That way it would be like a tube, and just slip on top of the larger strand.

Sculptris is good for objects directly created with the program, but importing .obj files, most of the polys are lost. That brush is a powerful tool not for imported objects.
Reducing polys with those features ends generally in a bad topology and losing UV map data. If you want to reduce polys, it's better join vertices and/or creating new faces and Metasequoia allows very well this function
