For some reason, I can't really think of any times when someone was kind to me, haha. So, I'll just tell my most memorable moment helping someone out.
>Was about to go into a restaurant with my ex-girlfriend
>notice this guy walking around trying to talk to people, start walking toward my truck
>I'm in a sketchy area of town, so I'm like "Oh fuck, what does this guy want"
>Comes up asking for change, anything. He was locked out of his house and needed to get in, and he needed to pay a locksmith to be able to get in
>Notice he looks really stressed out, girlfriend goes into her purse, I go into my pockets
>Give him probably 8 dollars in change
>Guy looks at what we gave him, and suddenly starts tearing up
>"You know, I tried to ask other people for help, but they all just looked right through me, like I didn't even exist. I was starting to realize what kind of a world we live in, but then you two- *tears up more* Thank you so much, you don't know how much this means to me. I hope you win the lottery, I'm serious. You people deserve it. You've restored my faith in people in this city. Here's my business card, if you ever need any granite give me a call"
>Feels good man
>Next week my dad wins 15 grand
>Year later, renovating kitchen, get a sweet deal on granite, dude totally remembered and almost teared up again when I told him who I was
All in all, that is my most memorable incident of just helping someone out.
