>>2964559Alright, since it's pretty clear that you're probably the only person on /r9k/ who is not trolling, I'll chip in my two cents:
You guys were pretty close friends, right? He's not just a creepy stalker you knew briefly in school or some shit, right?
If you really care as much about him as it seems he does about you, then agreeing to see him again seems like a no-brainer. Of course, it is very understandable that you are nervous about what will happen, as he seems quite unstable.
Instead of meeting him alone someplace, why npt take advantage of his offer? Invite him home to your place and invite his dad as well. You can sit with Nathan in private, talk and cry and hug and do whatever it is you guys with friends do, then afterwards the three of you (heck, go ahead and arrange for a psychiatrist to be there too, if you don't think it will look too condescending to your friend) can sit down and discuss where to go from there. Most likely some regular therapy sessions, I'm no brain-doctor.
This Nathan seems like he needs help, and it seems like he might be dangerous too. Is your friendship worth risking your life for? If he senses that he has alienated you with his craziness and decides to kill himself because of that, will your safe life mean anything to you?
