>>523909No, thats not patriotism. You have been brainwashed, brainwashed to think that its your job to sit there second guessing everything the government does.
While its true that you should not just accept whatever they throw at you, the fact remains that things can only be accomplished if people are unified behind it. And if everyones constantly complaining, criticizing, or second guessing their government, nothing will ever happen.
For some reason people tend to think that there is always a 'good' solution, or a 'good' answer where nothing bad has to happen and nobody has to get hurt. Well, thats not true. Much of the decisions the government has to make boils down to what will be the 'least horrible' option. The one where the fewest people die, the least amount of money is lost, or what-have-you. But people today, in their fantasy tv world, always think theres a way, if we just keep denying anything that is not 100% right and okay, that eventually a perfect option will show up.
If you have a choice, shoot 10 people, or shoot 100 people, if thats your choice, and you shoot 10 people, there will be people protesting and complaining that you have shot people and shouldnt have done that.
Now much of the problem comes from within the government, i don't know if they are just stupid or think that its best if people are always in this confused state that they are in currently. But what im talking about is isolated, the simple idea that its your job to constantly question everything - it isn't, its counter productive, slows everything down, and is the same sort of thinking that caused thousands of flights to be grounded because some wiring was not up to code, even though theres no way it could have caused the planes to crash.
The elected people are elected so you don't have to think, you just do what the leaders say. Maybe its bad, maybe its good. But your voice has already been voiced, now man up and follow orders so things can get done.
