That makes me think of a fantasy of mine. I've always wanted an RV that can drive on it's own. I would go down a desert highway, in the late morning to mid-afternoon, all by myself. Sometimes I'd step in to drive, but I'd go as fast as I could,and there'd never be any police or other cars, or any chance of an accident. At night, I'd sleep in the RV on the side of the road and my small room would have a ceiling window. During the day, I could play any handheld game I wanted, and somehow have access to the Internet, and I'd keep you guys up to date on my adventure. Sometimes, I'd stop off at those little bed-and-breakfast places, and eat eggs, toast, and sausage with the friendly owners. Alas, it'll never happen.

It usually takes weeks of being a hermit or a social butterfly for me to get tired of it, and only a week or so to recover by switching it up.

Of course I'd park along the side of the road at night. Although now I want to be looking at the ceiling window while lying on my bed and see the clear night sky moving along with me, with the occasional cloud.

Unfortunately, a lot of this isn't possible, nor do I have the money for any of it, nor do I have an RV license, nor do I live anywhere near a desert highway like Route 66. But a man can dream. Oh, and I want to play Highway Star with the window open while in the front seat and do some extreme driving.

What are everyone's introverted fantasies, the ones you want to do alone?

My introvertness kind of grew on me, I think it's because I lived with 11 other people in one house during my second year. Hardly got a minute to myself. Now I live with 3 other people and we spend most of our time chilling at home, cooking food and watching stuff. Couldn't ask for more.

As an only child, being alone is just...something I had to grow up with, I suppose that's why it's a part of me. I feel stressed if I don't have solo-time. I feel comfortable on my own, relaxed too.

Communication has to be thought out carefully in order to prevent misunderstandings as natural languages are pretty ambiguous, so it may take a while to make a point in an easy to understand, unambiguous way. Interrupting me shows that you have neither considered nor appreciated the time and thought I invested by formulating my point so that it can easily be understood specifically by you. I did terribly in school because my own thoughts were more entertaining than the subject material, I might as well have had a tv on my desk.
It also caused me to drop out of college and makes me seem like a brooding kind of guy.

I was extremely introverted but I took a dale carnigie class and it really helped with public speaking, confidence and ability to talk to people. I would attribute this to my newly found ability to not get a flying fuck about how other perceive me if I present myself in my view of a professional aggressive businessman type way.

So I gave up on impressing anyone else, I'm me and I think I'm okay. I don't understand how society works, and I've pretty much given up trying. I'm tired of being judged by every little action and statement I make, so I'm just quiet.

Everyone else seems to think there's something wrong with me. I feel like the outcast, like when a pack of animals forces the one reject animal out. For a little while, I was tempted to do rude and cruel things just to somehow justify why people were treating me badly.

I like nothing more than to sit alone when it's quiet and just enjoy the silence. I like being up at night because there is nobody around. A lot of times I just like listening to instrumental or classical music because I can't stand the sound of someone singing.

I always say that my dream life would be living on a small island and doing different forms of art (painting, writing, music) for the rest of my life.

My old friends used to be extroverts. Obviously, they'd always ask to hang out and go places. I really didn't enjoy that, and often made excuses. I liked them, I just didn't like going out and socializing. My new friends are fairly introverted. When apart, we're usually quiet, but when we're together (at lunch), we're quite loud. We talk about all sorts of things we like, and joke around with each other. I try to be somewhat outgoing around extroverts, but it exhausts the fuck out of me. Everyday after school, I just flop down on my bed and sleep, because I'm so mentally exhausted from having had to interact with others all day. There was this one time when I was discussing philosophy with an acquaintance, and I really got into the conversation. Afterwards, I was so completely exhausted that I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. Even today, I make excuses when someone wants to hang out, or I'm invited to a party. Really, if I had the choice, I'd live alone for the most part. I'm most comfortable late at night, when no one's awake. And I constantly daydream, even while talking to people.

I also found a best friend, and he actually listens to me. I've found that most extroverted people (therefore most people) are really bad at listening; if they don't listen to me, why should I listen to them. When I'm around my friend, I feel comfortable to be myself. People have told me that I have a "strong" personality but he just brings that out in me. If they saw me alone, I'd probably be quiet as fuck.
