>>2955837Sometimes, yes. Usually just petty crimes like trespassing/squatting on an abandoned property or shoplifting from big chain stores. I've never mugged anyone or done a break-in or anything like that.
I drink sometimes, but not all day erry day like a lot of hobos do. I also like to smoke pot sometimes, although it's hard to find contacts since I move around a lot. Also, the cops LOVE to hassle me and they'd take any excuse to make an arrest. I'd never get into the serious, addictive stuff like heroin or crack.
>>2955850I move around a lot. During the summer I go far enough north that it stays under 100f, during the winter I go far enough south that it stays over 0f. A lot of people hate the cold, but it doesn't really bother me. With a blanket, some thick clothes, and a space heater I stay comfortable all winter long.
>>2955863My first day being homeless was a lot like any other day, except that I had to find somewhere to sleep at the end of it.
I shower in gym locker rooms when I can. At some places $10 per month buys a membership. I don't work out, but it's worth it just for access to the locker room. When that's not possible I either wash up in a sink somewhere or use this nifty little camp shower bag that I have. pic related.
In poor weather I either seek shelter or just wait it the fuck out.
There's a bit of a learning curve to being homeless, but you'll figure it out in time. The internet helps tremendously if you have good researching skills.
