One major problem I tend to have with surveys is that the questions are too vague. For instance, what is the one about witches supposed to actually mean? If someone, say a Wiccan, identifies as being a witch, does that mean there are witches? Is that person mistaken? Do witches have to have "paranormal" powers, or do they only need to think they do, or are the issues unrelated?
That question in particular does not clearly pertain to belief in the paranormal.
The astrology question is also too vague. It was simple enough when it asks essentially "Do you believe in astrology?" The "or that the position of the stars and planets can affect people's lives" part turns it into a complex question, because that part is clearly true. The position of the Earth (a planet) relative to the Sun (a star) clearly affects people's lives. If the earth were twice as far from the Sun as it is, everything would be frozen. That's a big impact.
