>>4388035It honestly depends on your university and your education year. Usually, engineers have to deal with humongous drops in grade value, which don't occur that much in non-STEM majors. To exemplify what i mean:
>Have 3.00 GPA or a bit higherYou're doing swell: you have a nice shot at getting an intership somewhere during your education process, and you can get a good job with good starting pay, though it may be a bit boring or tedious.
>Have anything less than 3.00 GPAYou are so incredibly fucked. Most interships won't even consider you, and your job prospects suddenly drop down to zilch. Of course, there will be jobs, but prepare for utterly boring bureocratic stuff with decent pay at best.
Of course, this doesn't hold always, but it's a good summary.
