Because everybody wants my best friend instead. Every time I even say that a guy is cute, she hits on them and flirts with them. She did that with the last guy I had a thing with for a while, and as soon as he fell into the palm of her hand, she took him. The guy I like right now is one of my great friends, and she's trying to take him too.
I guess oogling over some guy who posts on /soc/ that I have a ridiculous, retarded, fangirly crush on is the only lump of light feelings I can achieve for now.
