but ok, take for instance 9/11. the plane that hit the penatgon.
It was captured on video, right? by several different cameras. the FBI confiscated all the videos of the plane hitting the pentagon, and have only to date only released those three frames, in which you cant see the actual plane at all. Countless conspiracy theories have sprung up now over this one act of concealment. Its a plane hitting a building, why not just show it? Just show the plane in and a thousand conspiracy theorists are silenced. Why bother covering it up. It just adds to the claims of conspiracy.
Thats just one occasion where the US dont help themselves discourage conspiracy theorists. There are plenty more where the govt. could just have came out and conclusively ruled their theories out. Just nip it in the bud.
But they dont, and people get freaked out, and then other people hit out at those who notice the over-the-top secrecy.
It could all be stopped with a bit more transparency.
