so i went to espn for the MLB power rankings and of course, the yankees at 16-9 are still somehow better than us even though the only competitive series they've played is against Texas. Is everyone against cleveland or is just espn? I'm seriously fucking pissed.

too lazy to start my own thread about this topic (sorry op, i'm hijacking) but i am sick and fucking tired of watching the phillies yankees or red sox day in and day out on ESPN. I know espn sucks at the tit of all the large markets, the problem i have is that when small market teams (like texas, the brew crew, etc) are doing well, they play it off as a fluke and don't give credit where credit is due. The yankees have ncie offensive numbers, sure, but theyre pitching is middle tier and they are giving up enough runs to lose games, just like the phillies.

I just watched them show their several wins over the tigers this weekend (i mad) they also recapped their entire season thus far. They're getting all kinds of love, and there's a few dudes on EPSN2 who are from cleveland/ohio who actively push the indians all the time.

This shit happens in baseball ALL THE TIME.

Do we really want to watch two terrible AL Central teams? For the NL Central, Cubs and Cards usually get the nod, but the Cubs are terrible this year. ESPN started Sunday night baseball with Dodgers-Giants, then some fan got smacked on the head.

Remember, the World Series last year was one of the lowest rated championships.

also, The problem is, the large market teams get their dicks sucked from day one while it takes small market teams 20+ games to get noticed by the national media. thats why i'm upset
