An odd torrent problem I get:

I get this from all torrent programs, it doesnt matter what I use... last 5 I tried all did this.

I can run the programs, download things, and leave stuff to upload for a while so as not to leech. But when I shut down the torrent program I am bombarded by access attempts on my torrent programs port for the next 2 day to 2 weeks.

My firewall shits bricks on the 5 access attemopts per minute, and I can get a total of 17,000 fireawall alerts in no time at all.

I can open the port for the firewall but my internet connection still gets raped. It is like a DDoS attack that happens every time I run a torrent progam. I get this even if I never upload or download anything in a session.

17,000 access attempts from 17,000 different people.

I ask other people and they never get this problem. It is like I have a huge sign on my PC that says FREE PORN and the entire internet is trying to get in.

Some days my connection is fucked with so much traffic that my ISP has to give me a new IP address. All is well after that.
