In the 90's i have recorded this songs from a (pirated) vhs copy of the movie to a tape, and listened it for hours. At the time i thought this where the best song ever made.

A bit off topic but I was wondering if the anime itself is worth watching for me, considering I watched Bubblegum Crisis and Crash and enjoyed those. I read that both BGC and GF were produced by the same studio.

Probably a bit late for this guy, but in case anyone is interested, I think the first 3 (Eternal Story, Destruction, and Stardust War) are very good. Earth Chapter is pretty different, and not as good, but still pretty entertaining. New Era is best left forgotten, though. Shit got canceled after 2 episodes, so it doesn't even have a real ending.

I thought Eternal Story was only so-so. I haven't watched it in about a decade, so I forget details, but my impression was that the pacing was off. Destruction and Stardust Wars were more interesting, love the closing theme to Destruction.

Eternal Story was definitely the mediocre title for the trilogy (Eternal Story, Destruction, Stardust War) but it sets up Stardust War for an incredible end scene - even if the song that plays during the credits is almost as gay as Clay Aiken.
