So /t/ my current bittorrent is fucked up. Web pages run slow as fuck when I'm running the bt and ever sense I got the thing I've had blue screens + the bt itself is crashing and needing a restart. Its not a spyware / adware problem so I'm a bit confused. Its pissing me off so I've came to you guys for some questions.

First of all where can I DL a bittorrent that isnt going to fuck with me like this one is. I got this one at Bittorrent.com which is the only place I know where to get the download software and I think its the most up to date one there is...

2ndly if I do uninstall and reinstall will my current download progress be lost? I've got a couple that are nearly done that are several Gigs that haven't been downloading very fast... I'm blaming the bittorrent itself because of how many seeds each have.
