Use ttaenc.exe to decode the tta files and then re-reference them in the cue files. Then burn or mount as you wish.

But anyway, I have a collection of MP3s from the first game that were basically recorded from the ingame jukebox. The upshot to this is that the dude who recorded them took the time to record some tracks with sound effects intact (by playing them, basically). It's just not the same hearing Space Dance without PA-PA-PA-PANCH.

So, does OP torrent contain sound effects, or no?

Like I said, you keep those long wav files, and reference them inside the cue files. Then mount the cues, and rip the tracks to MP3 or whatever you want.

Yes, this is an official release from nintendo.
All the tracks of rhythm tengoku are arranged and some are full versions of otherwise short tracks.
Most of the tracks from the two rhythm tengoku gold cds are not arranged, but the quality is much higher than the originals. Some of the tracks are rearranged there too (all the vocal tracks and some others too).

4) Compile any of the above if necessary and make sure they're in your $PATH
5) Delete the moonspeak from TITLE "M O O N S P E A K" in the .cue files (cuebreakpoints dislikes moonspeak)
6) Execute "cuebreakpoints Disc1.cue | shntool split Disc1.tta"

Here's what I did. I Googled ttaenc to get it. Then I opened a DOS command box, and typed "ttaenc -d Disc1.tta." This decoded the .tta file into a single .wav file.

I then opened Disc1.cue with notepad, and changed "Disc1.tta" at the top to "Disc1.wav." I then mounted the cuesheet with Daemon Tools. After this, I ripped all the tracks like a normal CD with AudioGrabber, and converted to MP3 with Goldwave. I just need to do the other two discs.

I'm encoding to 320kb/s MP3s, by the way. Maybe after I'm done tagging and inserting album art, I'll rapidshit the entire thing provided it's not too big.
