>>266232You are the perfect example of someone who:
A.) Didn't watch the movie in it's entirety before ranting about how wrong it was
B.) Missed the point entirely because you can't focus on anything you don't already believe
C.) Will never be both skeptical AND open minded because it requires you to question new ideas after UNDERSTANDING them
You continuously state that the comparison is toward Jesus, when in-fact the comparison is among all of these gods. Also, when a comparison of Jesus and ANYONE is made, it is made as a comparison of JESUS to the other gods not the other way around, which is CLEARLY stated because he is the MOST RECENT of these gods. The focus of this is not only to raise questions about Jesus, but ALL gods with these VERY similar traits.
Also, you must have missed the point about all of these being related to astrology because that was the result of all these comparisons. And anyone who has done the research knows that everything stated regarding astrology is fact, not opinion.
Simply put the point made was "All of these gods, even the most recent and accepted Jesus, share crucial similarities even though they were all from unique times and places."
Do the research, Horus and Jesus have more than just a FEW things in common, you could even say they were just shy of being the same person. Strange considering they believed in Horus 3000 years before Christ was "born".
PLEASE do me a favor and focus on the POINT of what's being stated instead of arguing over something that even I, or anyone else who supports this movie, would argue the legitimacy of. Don't act as if it's a direct stab at YOUR beliefs, it's a stab at how ignorant most of the world is in today's society.
Again, this is a truly controversial film, at least watch it before you attempt to criticize it.
