I just got one the other day, with 110GB, but only 70 or so free. How do I free up some room? I'm not used to SSDs nor laptops, help would be greatly appreciated.

[1265518611] Throughput vs Ping

No.18222 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Sup /tech/.
I'm paying for 300mb up, 50 down. I'm getting that (my torrents are able to max it out, speedtest agrees), but I'm having ping troubles with any games I decide to play: wow on my computer (200+ when I used to get 30) or modern warfare on my ps3.
What the hell is going on?

[1376583756] Mobile signal booster, and internet

No.25452 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Hi, im a desperate media student who needs a better internet connection, but the only thing that the internet companies can sell to me is 0.50 kbit.

I have heard that it is possible to boost the nearby mobile signal and in some kind of way connect this to a router and use it as a normal internet router.

Is this possible? And if it is, what do i need, and how do i set it up?

[1375142185] OpenCola

No.25382 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Who was there when this happened?:
OpenCola is a brand of open source cola, where the instructions for making it are freely available and modifiable. Anybody can make the drink, and anyone can modify and improve on the recipe as long as they, too, license their recipe under the GNU General Public License. Since recipes are, by themselves, not copyrightable, the legal basis for this is untested.[1]
