Okay, so River’s a timelord-y type thing, right? How do timelords die? Either after their 13th regeneration (I think it’s 13, not sure, but obviously it’s at least 11 and regardless, whatever number works, but for convenience sake ill say 13) or they are killed during Regeneration. Well, when River died we didn’t see her start to regenerate which means she already used her regenerations ( I think, I know in Let’s Kill Hitler, she gave the doctor some of her life but she couldn’t have given it ALL). Now, since she’s not like a legit timelords, she might not get all 13, but lets remember what we’ve seen from her. We have the little girl in the Impossible Astronaut and Day of the Moon who regenerates in 1969/1970. Then we have Mel’s who shows up as adolescent sometime in the 1990s, and finally we have Alex Kingston as River who then dies in the library episode. That’s only 3 out of 13, where are the other 10? And there’s a 20+ year gap between the little girl and Mels. Is it possible that before the Silence got ahold of her she was running around as 10 different regenerarions? Then what if one of those regenerations was Clara. Now I’m not quite sure about Clara in the Snowmen, but what if Oswin Oswald in Asylum of the Daleks was not actually ever on that ship and that b/c she was as clever as they said, her mind was used as a sort of interface. An interface that was made by Clara stored in the Great Intelligence in The Bells of Saint John and that the doctor will continue running Round with Clara until eventually they go back to check in on the Great Intelligence in 1890 from the Snowmen and something goes awry with that worm thing that the doctor had that erases your memory and Clara forgets who she is and for whatever reason the doctor leaves her behind, or maybe his memory is erased to and he forgets her so he thinks she’s some random woman from 1890 and leaves and she goes on to get the job as Governess so really there is only one Clara. The Bells of Saint John Clara is the original, then the Snowmen Clara is Post-Doctor Clara, and Asylum of the Daleks Clara is Clara-based computer. I don’t know why she didn’t regenerate right away after falling off the cloud but I’m just gonna ignore that. I also don’t know how little girl in NY made the transition to England. The only reason I think Clara and River are connected are their similar flirtatious personalities and that I heard that there would be a love triangle but not in the way you think, and I think a doctor and future Clara/Current River and past River/ Current Clara would be “not what you expect”
