>>15897812The making of the contract is pretty much the most vital step. That sounds like where you messed up. An entity not obligated to act will not act. You can muddle through everything else with time and experience, but forging, and obeying, the contract is the lifeblood of a true summoner.
Don't bother dragging a lawyer around either. Most entities don't appreciate weasel words. Other than the weasels.
Try something more base. Simple. An elemental is a good place to start. Elemental powers can be applied in a variety of fashions.. so they're a good 'bread and butter' long term contract. They're also rather easier to please.
Though they are more likely to get pissed off at someone too full of themselves than others for some reason. They can be volatile if mishandled. They are base elements, naturally. Just keep in mind you are not the master. It is a partnership. A mutually beneficial arrangement.
And if you can't come to terms, just try a contract with something else. They'll go peacefully as long as you didn't piss it off.
