So /tg/ I am starting an inquisitorial army, I am planning of making some inquisitorial razorback I can get some imperial eagles and the vindicator roof for dirt cheap,so I plan of using the eagles for the same conversion as seen in the pic, so both these bits and the razorback will cost me £19.06 which is still better than buying directly from GW, so how do you guys define your inquisitorial
men and vehicles,? specially for the chimera I have no idea how to make that.

count as extra armour

Well I only plan of adding the eagles at the front to mine, and anyone who wouldn't allow a 360 turn should read the rules themselves.

wow wow, where is this anger coming from? If you hate the idea of the eagles then say so, if you think that that wall would block line of sight then you need to read the 5th edition rule book which states any decorative piece on a model cannot affect line of sight in anyway, also I don't even want to add the wall piece to my model.

maybe instead of adding eagledoor on the front like the pic, you should use it as a secondary hatch on top of rhino

That is a very good point, though with that idea I wouldn't be able to use the vindicator roof since that has a turbine instead of a door, Hmmmmm I think I will have a play around to see which looks better.

I'm making my ISTs with Cadian chests, Scouts arms and boots, Tau legs and most of a Tau shoulderpad, and most of a Necron head inside a Cadian helmet. I want my faceless murder legion to look intimidating, damnit, even if it will take forever.

Also making my Psykers as 1 Alpha Psyker and a half-dozen cloaked 'minders' with helmets, and my Death Cult Assassins like the ISTs except no shoulderpad and I'll be using Cadian legs with rolled aluminium trenchcoats.

Also, the not-Coteaz Inquisitor will be Vlad von Carstein with the shoulderbone sawn off for a gun mount, his face replaced with most of a Necron face, and the Necron slashy hand. Also, if I can find one, an Incubus sword, the big-ass one.

I feel like I should do something with my Chimeras, but fuck if I'm not already looking at months of work with the little time I have spare. Maybe if there's a simple idea that looks good.

Pretty much, but more heavily armoued and with a Cadian helmet on top of the Necron head so the Necron bit looks like a faceplate. That way, I get my heavily-armoured dudes in black Carapace with white skull facemasks. This is in fact the secret ingredient to all Inquisitorial armies.

One thing that may be a problem is that the scout body is oddly very thick, so the legs in return may look a tad short, I have never tried this conversion so I could be completely wrong but it is worth mentioning.

Using Cadian bodies, not Scouts. Scout arms, though, but if they're a bit thick it'll just make them look meaty. If it all goes wrong, welp, I'll reconfigure. As long as I get my black Carapace white skullface all over a table eventually, I'm not worried.

I used to play with such an army,but I am trying to use the current codex now but I haven't played for some time now so I am a bit lost, if you have any advice on building a themed human army then it would be much appreciated.Though I tried it here before and all I got was have flak armour as count as carapace armour and why doesn't your army have monkeys?

Here is another stormtrooper conversion, to make up for that small pic, no idea who made it.

They shouldn't. Cadian armour standard is just Flak. The Guard run the full gamut of heavy to literally tank-tops within their 5+ save, and the only differentiation the codex has ever asked for is that the guys with Carapace be distinctly better-armoured than the guys with Falk. In this case, there'll be no doubt.

The only question I've left is how I'm going to style my Crusaders, if I even take any. They're cool, but slow down my counter-Deathstar, and won't actually make it live longer given the counter-Deathstar is so horrifying it'll be shot by everything until it dies.

I was going to make them like the ISTs, but give them a riot shield and a big-barelled pistol, working on the basis that people will let you WYSIWYG anything that is sufficiently badass-looking, and that anyone who won't isn't worth playing. I was going to ee if I can take some Chaos Warrior shields, cut down the star, and use GS to turn it into a battered-ass-looking Inquisitorial 'I'. Not sure about the pistols.

I do agree that the defining the difference between a 5+ save and a 4+ save is very odd , since cadians wear more armour than stormtroopers yet they have a worst save, or vostroyans who wear the same amount of armour as the cadians have a 4+ save, though I find it that a lot of how armoured models look comes from how you paint them.
The chaos shield might be a bit tall, since it covers the entire body of a chaos warrior and those guys are considerably taller than any other human produced by GW, though with that said everything in 40k is over sized so it will probably end up looking right.

If it's too big I can always cut it down. Much easier than building one up, at least. My only actual doubt there is to whether or not the sawn-off shotgun idea is a bit much for counts-as Power Weapons. I want to do SOMETHING, but there's not that many interesting options. Maybe I can get some WFB spears, and tech them up.

I'm probably not even going to use Crusaders, since my planned army consists of IST+ Psyker Killteams and DCA counter-Deathstars. I should be looking at ideas for Chimera fun, but I'm getting a bit burned-out on the sheer amount of work to be done on this force.
