Hey /tg/ I got into Warhammer 40k and started putting together my first army. Playing Orks
Money is a big constraint for me so I stayed away from the big meks and Kans

500 Point Ork army
HQ-
Warboss 95
- Power Klaw
- Boss Pole
- 'eavy Armor

Elites- 215
Loota Squad 75
5 Loot Boyz

Troops- 190

If money is a big constraint...you are going to suffer. If you're just playing with bros proxy everything with cardboard, otherwise suck it up, get a better job and buy plenty of models. I see you're trying to save money by taking fewer orks and giving them eavy armour....big mistake. orkz love numbers, you want shit loads of them. The only way little squads work is if you take a load of trukks, and that will cost more money.

Also, your army ain't legal, you need another troops choice.

Buy two battle boxes, cheapest way to get 40 boyz, 6 bikes and two trukkz.

I thought for the army to be legal you just needed an HQ and 2 troop Choices, The Warboss lets me take Nobs as a troop choice and then i got the 'ard boyz

dont buy at a gamesworkshop, but at your lgs (which can have insane discounts)
