I don't know what other board to ask, and this is related to RPG design, so I'm asking you, /tg/.
I'm working on skills for a homebrew RPG and am listing down benchmarks for Difficulty Class/Target Number. Like, it's X to achieve hard task, X+2 to achieve even harder task, and so on.
Now, is it easier to slip free from handcuffs/manacles or hempen rope that's tightly binding your wrists together? At first I thought handcuffs/manacles, because hey, metal vs. soft material, but then I wondered if it might be harder to slip out of the ropes.
How about when the ropes are tightly binding your entire arms together?
