>>14732986Well I have to wait at least until this bit of sewer-crawling is finished, because I can't introduce my Paladin/Cleric of Bane in the middle of battle, now can I?
Which, I might add, That Guy pretty much did. He's been switching characters about every two or three weeks, and while most of the party was exploring the tunnels he had his Dwarf Druid throw a big hissy-fit (in-game) because we weren't fighting anything. He wasted fifteen or twenty minutes doing this, and then said his character stomped off back to the tavern.
Then, right before the encounter begins (his character was long gone, of course) he insists on changing his character out for the Vampire he made, which led to the DM having to come up with the explanation that he was literally teleported into the fight.
Conversely, as I said, I was planning on changing characters after this bit of adventuring was up, and I already cleared with the DM about what my other character will be doing in the meantime so I can come back to him later on.
