So, my friend has been worldbuilding for almost half a year now, and we're getting ready to start his campaign, a gritty, low-fantasy (but still high magic? whatever) setting.

Been trying to think up characters, but I'm not much of one for grim and gritty (hell, I play Tau), so I was thinking teegee could do a gritty fantasy character dump to help me? I'll also accept scenery and whatnot for other people's benefit.
