Our DM is awesome because he puts ridiculous depth into every single NPC we meet, and could do the weirdest random encounters. Pic related.

>A completely plastered naked fairy that tried to get into our clothes for warmth. When one party member wished that she wasn't drunk, she granted the wish, but made everyone just as wasted at the same time. At least he didn't wish she had her clothes on.
>Another fey, this one a knight riding a corgi. Did you know that according to celtic mythology, fairies really used to ride corgis to battle? I looked it up.
>A bear and two otters playing cards, betting fish and shiny things. The bear had the worst poker face. The party joined in for a while and walked away with a lot of awesome gems, some art objects, and enough fish for the next three days.
>A bisexual rapping fire elemental whose "attacks" would be him trying to cop a feel. It was a lot better than it sounds.
All of them a bunch of one-time completely random NPCs that we never met again. If the character was to be more important, he could do even better.

I also like the party because we don't have a single That Guy and everyone is an awesome roleplayer and all around perfect.
