>>14738212I play Brittania and Prussia, I really like the game, but I don't like the Tiny Flyer rules, they are needlessly complicated IMO. Brittania has best torpedoes in the game, so they are best at medium range engagements and their heavy-hitting weapons do not decrease in effectiveness as they take damage, but their anti-boarding and anti-air defenses are crappy so they're very vulnerable to boarding. The Brits are also noteworthy in that even their Cruisers can mount Shield Generators and the Battleship (and Dred) can mount 2 Shield Generators. It really improves their durability. They are also the only faction with port/starboard torpedoes. Playing Brits is almost as tricky as playing the Japanese: you have to carefully line up your torpedo firing arcs (channels), attach Tiny Flyer escorts to your capital ships (to help with AA), and wear down the enemy. Guns decrease in damage as the ship takes damage, but British torpedoes do not, giving Brits a late-game boost combined with their Shield Generators.
