Problems with pawns is that they have bad manuverability. It will just end with some guy knocking a hole in your left flank by annihilating a pawn unit and he'll run amok on your King while his knights are harassing your Rooks and Bishops.

Goddammit, ever since Ward's Chessknights codex the only army anyone every fucking uses is fucking Pawn spam, god it pisses me off! Not to mention the entire codex nerfed my Checkers Daemons straight to hell!

I used to play a poker army, although I sometimes played a bridge army. They both get crapped upon by Chessknights. It's boring now, all I hear about is fucking Pawn spam.

If you want to play a pawn heavy army, just play a checker heavy army instead. They work better for covering each other.

Don't complain. Card players get hundreds of variants with their own special rules. I played a poker army against a go army and fucking slaughtered them. Especially good since poker armies can have the other player strip, and this hot girl I know plays a go army.

I have had some bad luck with poker chips in the past. Green ones are good for anti-armor, but one bad decision a lucky guess or an over bid and they become rather useless. Since the Chinese checkers can just warp guys around the map it isn't that hard to get a rear armor hit.

I know checkers were nerfed to shit with the whole, 'can't retreat thing' but the point of this army list is to have, too much shit that things cant get behind you. Besides the backgammon tokens can more laterally fast enough to cover any gaps that get there.

See, bullshit lists like this are what made me move to Gamehammer Vidya instead of just Classic Gamehammer. But when I started playing GHV, all I see are twelve year olds fielding MMO armies. That shit gets old fast, and with all the different variants out for MMO armies it seems like 80% of the armies are just MMO based.

I was looking at another game, but I really liked how I could move back and forth with my army between CGH and GHV by using my CGH board game army as a turn-based strategy army in GHV.
