Hey /tg/ newfag here, been lurking for a couple of months, and after having talked to some of my friends who play 40k, I've decided to start aswell.

I'm thinking of starting a space wolves army but the general consensus here seems to be that they're cheap and OP. I really like their style though so could you tell me exactly what about them that makes them unbalanced so that I may avoid it?

Other tips would also be appreciated, so /tg/ give me the 40k 101.
