Hey, folks. Seeking advice.

The group I'm in currently plays Pathfinder and enjoys it reasonably well, but we are divided on what we might play. Two players are 4e fans and adamant about it, but the DM and another player are big on 2E and CP2020. The other non-4E-fan player also just sits out the Gamma World games. Personally, 4E is not fun for me. It's too gamey, too simple, and bores me to tears more often than not.

DH has been suggested, but I think a lot of us are a little saturated from 40k bombardment, and one player will just bail outright if it's not fantasy. WFRP looks okay, but I'm not a fan of the "random chance of spell killing you for no reason" mechanic. I'm sure there must be more to it than that, but someone would need to teach me the system- if you can enlighten me on the subject, please do.

tl;dr The quandary: what system would suit our group best for a fantasy campaign?
