A few friends of mine are starting a game next week, and I've got 5 characters planned out (choosing one based on what the party needs)
I've got:
A cowardly wizard that used to run a potion and minor magic item shop (I liked the idea of selling rings with a "Suggestion" spell attached) Very conservative when it comes to magic use though, would rather use mundane ways to solve problems, and save spells for later "When they might be needed".
A half-orc Barbarian/bard that sings war cries, is bipolar between friendliness/courtesy/respect, and rage. Has a serious drinking problem, and is incredibly trusting towards people he doesn't know.
A Ranger who's a bit of a redneck, with a tendency to use Animal Empathy in Hunting, (This one's not developed much yet)
A rogue who's ambitious, can't stand to be second to anybody, sees people in terms of how they can be used (this also means he understands the value of friendships), and is frequently sarcastic, but in a serious tone of voice, and tends to make fun of people.
A fighter who believes that if you help people with their problems, they'll be weaker for it, and people should help themselves. Otherwise, acts like a bro to people he knows.
