Okay, I don't get how the hell D&D works due to lack of care. Would someone please tell me why page 42 induces rage? One solid response will do. Chart is from the 1d4chan page. I think I might just have no idea how in the hell you do skill checks in DnD. I have only really ever given a good amount of thought to how play in the dark heresy and paranoia games work.

also, D&D, why does it have to be so fucking complicated? I feel sorry for the fucks who try to use the advanced version of it. Just have a stat, roll, modify, compare. Why is everything burred under 10 paragraphs of hand holding?
