CONTEXT:
I made an Avenger of Vecna who worshipped him so that Vecna could keep his secret: that he had a shit-tier childhood and may be the child of something from the Far Realm.

The DM thought this meant (basically) I would be Batman.

I ended up playing him as a guy who was horribly abused as a child, and now spends every moment righting the wrongs done to him, while making sure everyone thinks this is just cause he's a cool guy. The episode with the wolf-bro is due to the fact that his parents killed the puppy he adopted as a little kid. We encountered a pack of wolves. Everyone picked their targets and killed their wolves.

My guy knocked his out and is dead-set on taming her.

An extremely capable killer, third in line to his family's Imperial Navy Legacy.

I didn't even intentionally make him gay, the idea just materialized in my head when i was thinking about the character. And I thought I'd notify the DM, just in case it ever came up in game, i.e. seduction attempts, et al. That is the only time I've mentioned it, and I made sure to say that the character isn't flamboyant, or prissy, or anything like that.

But apparently, the Dm, who's older than me (and I'm 25), can't handle that in a mature manner, and in the first session alone made about six fucking references to it.

Give more examples of renegade, non-chaotic marines.

The main one that comes to mind is the Knights of Blood, who are full retarded and love to randomly murder tons and tons of innocents for no reason, but argue they're still totally loyal.

There are also plenty of people who are imperials and shit but decried as traitors or whatever. This does not magically force you to play Black Crusade; you can be running DH: Ascension, and your inquisitor is considered an excommunicated traitor, without anything being significantly affected (you just need to use the hidden influence rules, which are better than the normal ones to begin with).

I was a grim, efficient leader of men who led a nation not unlike if Russia and the Ottoman Empire had a terrifying child, leading alternating living tides of steamjacks and men and brutal, elite, efficient strike teams against enemy positions in order to break their backs.
