Defensive weapons are weapons on a vehicle that a have S value of 4 or less, right? I ask only because everyone I've known has insisted, for no apparent reason that every fucking gun on a tank that isn't an ordinance weapon is a "defensive" weapon, (and thus has a S value maxing out at 4) which seems rather contrary to what I've read in the main rule book. Not to mention it screws with my effort to maximize the dakka on my mechanized guard list...

So, tell me please, /tg/ whether that they've just fucked up because they didn't read the rules closely enough or if I'm somehow had a vivid hallucination while reading the 5th edition rulebook.
