>>3065737Ever seen Hellsing Ultimate?
From what I've read, pretty much everyone in Hellsing Ultimate would make a great stereotypical sergal. I just approached each situation with "What would Paladin Anderson Do?" and did whatever I could to make things creepy.
I remember one time we had to get this innkeeper to let us into the inn, the inn was full and he wouldn't even let us come in and sleep on the floor. The paladin leading our party tried to reason with him for a while before I had my character pull the paladin back, step forward, and say "Look here, human" in the raspiest voice I could manage (as that's how I imagine they talk), "The last human who denied myself and my companions entrance got off easy, I only slit his throat before stripping his corpse and hanging it outside. His wife wasn't so lucky, she nearly chewed through the gag three times as I sliced open her stomach and made her watch as I feasted on her entrails. That was before I raped her lifeless corpse, of course. Now, are you going to let us in or are you going to make me get nasty?"
It sounded better at the time, I assure you.
But anyways, yeah. Saying shit like that from time to time was quite a thrill, as was taunting opponents with how good the wounds given to him felt and other crazy violence-loving stuff.
Oh, and yeah, Paladin Anderson wouldn't do that, but if he was a rapist and evil he would. For the record, my character never actually raped anything, he just referenced it from time to time.
And also for the record, my alignment was true neutral.
