One time, my party (a paladin who was me, a wizard, and a rogue, all level 1) was sleeping outside. We awoke to find out that we were surrounded by kobolds. After some very quiet strategy, I Divine Challenged one kobold and charged the group of kobolds that were in the other direction.

This kobold decided to attack our wizard. It missed and took 8 radiant damage for attacking someone other than me. It was a minion, so that was 7 more damage than was required to kill it.

This was my first game of D&D and I was pretty proud of myself for killing a kobold by yelling at it, despite how crappy said kobold was.
