4th is a very streamlined game, easy to pick up and play. The power system balances all the classes FAIRLY well (by making every class overpowered and broken)., but it lacks the depth I've grown to love in DnD. One of my favorite things about 3.x are the craft feats (As I love to make my own Items. which most of the time I end up de-powering cause I try not to break the game.) and the skill points/ranks. The fact that I can make a character who can lie to anybody as well as have a little success in the pickpocketing market. Sure, the party rouge would be better then me but, I was decent. In 4e just about every Character that's Class Y is gonna have the skills, and be just as good as each other at it no matter what their priorities in life were.
