Quick Orks question.

Can you buy Trukks as a Heavy Support choice, or only as an attachment to a Boyz or Nobz squad (meaning that only that squad can ride around in it)? I need a vehicle for my Lootas to ride around in, and don't really care for the stats on the Looted Wagon.

Pic unrelated, though I am also building a looted Defiler.

Hold on, I thought that models being transported in a vehicle could shoot from the vehicle without counting as moving.

Am I mistaken in this belief? I'd check myself, but I'm home for Thanksgiving and left my rulebook in my apartment.

In that case, I could buy a Trukk for the squad of Shoota Boyz I was going to have hang out with the Lootas. The plan is to have a relatively mobile base of massive numbers of multi-shot weapons to assist my main assault mobs.

They can shoot, but if the vehicle moves, they count as moving as well. So they can't fire a heavy weapon, can't shoot at maximum range with Rapid-Fire weapons, and so on.
