Sup /tg/. I have been DMing 4th edition since it came out and just recently tried implementing my own ideas into my campaign. I started a campaign about a month ago with the intention of not keeping track of exp at all. At the end of each session my players get a level up and adjust their character sheet so they are ready to play next time we meet. Has anyone else thought of this? I would have probably done this in 3.5 but exp was used for more than just leveling up in that version. Now that you only need exp to increase in levels, I tried it, and it seems to working quite nicely. 30 levels would take a incredibly long time to play through, and we only play once a week, even leveling up each session will still take over half a year. What does /tg/ think?
