The Baal Predator is probably a good start. Try to use your Death Company to hold up the enemy, if at all possible getting the charge first. With their power armour and feel no pain they'll make a difficult speed-bump for the enemy to take on. A Death Company Furioso Dreadnought would do that even better. Try to give the rest of your squads an extra round of shooting to soften up the enemy or pick off synapse creatures, at the very least so you can hit your dedicated assault specialists right where you want them to go.
Also the last big point is regarding whether the game is a Kill-Point game or not. If it is, don't split up your units into combat squads, you're just giving the Tyranids more chances for points. If it isn't try to spread your stuff out in combat squads so they can't overwhelm you.
