This random post in another thread intrigues me immensely. I have visions of a Nightmare Before Christmas-esque take on the series, as quirky bands of undead stage a revolution on those who would keep them locked in their underground tomb cities.
I'm talking macabrely fun halloween-type undead-kickass, quirky, often glow green. The revolution begins with the rediscovery of old sufficiently advanced technology that runs not on willpower and capacity for evolution but on. . . okay, lemme think about this for a minute.
