Funny... think about it. In all these years this is what changed on the Dune 2 concept.
AoE - ages
TA - 3D environment
WarWinds - asymmetrical factions
RoboRumble - chassis>armour>engine>weapons system
Tiberian Sun was going to have a shitload of cool options but they rushed it and planned everything wrong so we got a shitty rushed game. It was planned to have:
-wind to create realistic firestorms and sandstorms
-tornados and vulcanos to complement the ion storms and meteor storms
-protecting civilian buildings would give you money through the city bank
-you could hire neutral mutant mercenaries to attack harvesters
-order a dropship drop units from space, placeable by player
I don't really know which game introduced upgrades and which game introduced garrisoning in civilian buildings.
