>>2313635the best place to start looking is on Den of Angels forum...unfortunately they're a little difficult to get an account with atm, but I've gotten quite a bit of info just in the open thread.
They can be pretty expensive. Starting around a couple hundred and stretching all the way to the thousands. They come in varying stages of completion, from just pieces to a fully assembled doll, with faceup (face is fully painted), sanding (body parts have had casting marks removed by hand), body blushing (body painted), with eyes, wig, clothes, etc.
Always pay attention to what is being sold. Sometimes you'll see pics of a doll with a price of say $150, but it turns out that's for only an unpainted head!
There are also a variety of option in the dolls, and sizes (from 1/12 to over 80cm). Obitsu dolls are not traditional ball joints, they have internal joint skeletons. Other than that, just look around. Check out US distributors like Mint on Card,
Denverdoll.com, junky spot, etc to get an idea of the companies and styles they offer.
