I still remember how back in 2007 the automorph gimmick meant there were some springs that made parts slide into place on their own when you did a certain stage of the transformation. Nowadays it seems to mean that the entire Transformer transforms itself as long as you push the right peg or lever or whatever. Where is the fun in that?! At least Legends are still too small for them to implement the technology in them. Not that they aren't becoming a pain to transform nowadays when they are about as complex as deluxes were twenty years ago. Who even needs light piping in something that small?

I missed the good ol' days... The 00s was probably the golden age of toys, the first half of 2010s were awesome until all that bullshit 4" scaling came about. I shudder to think what toys would would look like in the 2050s. Most of us would at least be in our 60s or so. I doubt I would still be collecting by then. I hardly ever do now and it's just my kids buying old nostalgic stuff that comes about every few years. What I worry though, is my grandkids. My kids were able to see the last remnants of the old times, but my grandkids...I have no idea how to enrich their young lives with the joy that is toys...

Do any of you guys what Halo 3 or McFarlane toys are? I found a bunch of my dad's old toys from before the war and it appears he was collecting these things.
